The Instagram public account zhaloby_astana posted the video, which immediately captured the audience's attention. The footage shows a man running up an escalator to save a child who is hanging onto the handrail. The unknown man intercepts the child at the last second, preventing a fall.
"Parents, please keep an eye on your children on escalators. Thankfully, the man reacted quickly," the post states.

The video has received dozens of comments, with social media users praising the man's swift and skillful response.

It should be noted that nothing is currently known about the man who saved the child.
