May 15: Clear skies continue with southwest wind 3–8 m/s. +18…+20°C at night, and a sweltering +32…+34°C by day.
Authorities are advising residents to stay hydrated and avoid direct sun during peak hours, especially on May 15 when the heat will reach its peak.
This localized warm spell is part of a broader nationwide heatwave, with temperatures in southern Kazakhstan forecast to reach up to +44°C, while central regions could see up to +38°C. Rain and thunderstorms, however, are expected to hit the western and northern parts of the country.
