The video appeared on October 27. The incident took place in Almaty, presumably on the Esentai River. The footage shows a man, apparently without even taking off his sunglasses or bag, jumping into the water and pulling a boy out of the cold river. The rescued boy, barely reaching the shore, said a simple but meaningful: "Rahmet, aga," (Thank you, brother/uncle) expressing gratitude to his savior.

Under the publication on TikTok, users expressed their respect for the hero, calling him a brave and selfless person.

"Find who saved him, give him an apartment, give him a car, at least some kind of reward from the state to an ordinary person," some commentators in the video suggested rewarding the hero.
The Almaty Police Department told Tengrinews.kz that this fact was revealed during the monitoring of social networks.
