Karim Massimov instructed Akim (Governor) of Kostanai oblast not to allow rise of food prices, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Premier-Minister's press-service. The Prime-Minister named several important issues that have to be solved by reappointed Akim Sergey Kulagin. “The first task is the sowing campaign: I hope there is enough moisture in the fields this year and all the fuel problems are solved. The second issue is the start-up of cattle breeding program. The industrial program in Kostanai is moving on quite well, but it is necessary to step up the work on small and medium businesses. And of course the main issue is the inflation, especially the food prices inflation. Kostanai residents have to solve this problem not only in their own region, but also help out other oblasts,” said Karim Massimov. The Prime-Minister also brought up the issue of gas and heating pricing. Speaking about his oblast's residents reappponited Kulagin said: “Brilliant people they are, unique people! Intellectual potential is very high here. It is a pleasure to work here,” he said. Karim Massimov introduced re-appointed Akim Sergey Kulagin to Kostanai administration on April 12.
