Tengrinews.kz - A new direct flight route between Kazakhstan and Serbia is in the works.
The Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport confirmed that discussions were held between Kazakhstan’s Vice Minister of Transport, Talgat Lastayev, and Serbia’s Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Aleksandra Sofronijevic. The two sides explored the possibility of launching direct flights between Astana and Belgrade.
A separate meeting was also held with Serbia’s Deputy Minister of Tourism and Youth, Ivana Rakic.
Kazakh representatives from SCAT Airlines and travel agencies also took part in the talks, which focused on the potential launch of direct flights by the end of 2025.

Kazakhstanis will also soon be able to travel directly to Jordan, as plans for a new international route are underway.
