Kazakhstan will produce its own helicopters, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Prime-Minister's Twitter page. “Had a meeting on the issues of Kazakhstan Engineering. We will make our own helicopters with Eurocopter,” Karim Massimov posted. As per the agreement, the first lot of helicopters assembled in Kazakhstan will be supplied in the end of this year. It is assumed that they will be used by military and security forces and the Emergency Situations Ministry for rescue and medical operations. The agreement on the joint venture between Kazakhstan and France was made during Nursultan Nazarbayev's visit to France.
