Head of the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) to visit Kazakhstan

Miroslav Jenca (Slovakia), Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General (SRSG) and Head of the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), is to visit Astana July 22, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing the Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry. “During the planned talks he will discuss prospects of cooperation between the UN Organization and Kazakhstan; the current situation in Central Asia, notably in Afghanistan; implementation of the SCO decisions within the region; and Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in the OIC Council of Ministers”, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ilyas Omarov elaborated.
