Crude oil production output in January – May 2.5% up

Crude oil production in Kazakhstan in January-May grew 2.5% as compared to the like period of 2010, the State Agency for Statistics reports. Crude oil production of the period under review made up 28.2 million tons, with 5.52 million tons being produced in May alone. 2010 oil and condensed gas production in Kazakhstan stood at 79.7 million tons, 4.2% up against 2009. Major volumes of oil exports were sent through CPC (40,2%), Atyrau-Samara (21,5%), Atasu-Alashankow (14.2%).
