2.5 thousand military men to take part in the military parade on Constitution Day

Over 2.5 thousand military men will take part in the military parade oneThe Constitution Day in Kazakhstan on August 30, KazTAG reports citing press-service of Kazakhstan Ministry of Defense.

“Over 2,500 participants of the coming parade are placed in the camp in the area of military base 68665 close to the capital. They include contracted soldiers, students of military universities and regular soldiers,” the Ministry’s message states.

Compared to the last-year parade, this year the parade on the main square of Astana will include two troops of military women, as well as fully armed mountain troops. Kazakhstan ground, air defense and navy troops will march next to Kazakh Eli monument, as well as troops of the Interiors Ministry, National Security Commission, Emergency Situations Ministry and the National Guard.

“This year the parade will be more large-scaled and interesting, as it will be timed to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence,” the Defense Ministry noted. Besides, a military orchestra led by head of the Defense Ministry orchestra service Aleksandr Belyako will take part in the parade as well. The total of 245 orchestra musicians will take part in the parade.

Officers will march on the main square of Astana in parade outfits, while other services will wear field clothes. Rocket troops, artillery, infantry, troopers will be fully armed. “Walking rows of parade troops are getting not less than “good” grades during trainings,” the message states.
