Kazakhstan is getting a new economic zone

Kazakhstan is going to create a new economic zone in Shu town of Zhambyl oblast, KazTAG reports citing deputy Prime-Minister and Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev. “So far we have 9 economic zones and the 10th zone is in plans right now. It will be a chemical park in Shu town. The project is currently being reviewed by the President,” he said at the Senate meeting called On the work performed by Ministry of Industry and New Technologies on attraction of investments and promotion of export. In general, according to the Minister, “the efficiency of all zones still remains low”.
