27 Kazakhstan projects have received state support for the total amount of over 40 billion tenge ($270 million) under Productivity-2020 program, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Karim Massimov’s Facebook. This program was launched in Kazakhstan in 2011 for modernization of large and medium-sized Kazakhstan companies and creation of new production facilities. Right now it includes over 200 companies representing 12 industries. The main objective of the large and medium businesses is modernization of existing production and managerial processes. Modern management technologies increase efficiency of the companies and give an enable them to bring their commodities to the global markets. Productivity-2020 program provides for modernization of existing technologies, industrial and managerial flows and creation of competitive production facilities. Target indicators of the program include increase of labor efficiency in processing industry 1.5-fold by 2015 and 2-fold by 2020, as well as increase of the average load of the program participants’ capacities to 80 percent.
