Authors of the “national keyboard” named AdamSky have received the first final sample of their invention from a Chinese factory, the board’s author Dias Zhunisbekov told Tengrinews.kz.
The inventors are expecting the first batch of 1,000 keyboards within two weeks. Besides, the Kazakhstan keyboard was presented to the Majilis (lower chamber of the Parliament) on April 8. Zhunisbekov said that they have signed memorandums with a range of state companies, including National InfoCommunications Holding Zerde and National Information Technologies, to supply a part of keyboards from the first batch to them. The talks are currently being completed with LogyCom company that will be the distributor of AdamSky keyboard.
Several changes have been introduced into the keyboard after its presentation in spring 2012. In particular, the keys with Kazakh letters were moved to the center. The next models of the gadget will have multimedia keys and USB-ports for flash memory sticks.
