Kazakhstan invested over $1 billion in Cyprus: Marchenko

Kazakhstan invested $1.162 billion into Cyprus as of the end of 2012, KazTAG reports citing chairman of Kazakhstan National Bank Gregory Marchenko. “As of December 31, 2012 all the investments of Kazakhstan into Cyprus totaled at $1.162 billion,” Marchenko said at the press-conference on Tuesday. “This amount includes $513 million of direct, $22 million of portfolio and 627 million of other investments,” he specified.
