The aircraft crashed in Zhambyl Oblast in Kazakhstan’s south on January 20 at 3:40 pm, killing 6 people. The only person who miraculously survived the crash was a young woman named Asem Shayakhmetova. The doctors say her current condition is serious but stable.

A special commission was established to investigate the incident. Three versions of the crash are being considered: weather conditions, human error and aircraft’s mechanical failure.
