Akhmetov expressed condolences to families of plane crash victims

Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Serik Akhmetov has expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the plane crash near Shymkent, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Prime-Minister’s official website. “The military plane of Kazakhstan Border Control Service crashed near Shymkent yesterday. 27 people died, including commanders of the Border Control Service of Kazakhstan National Security Commission and other militarymen. This is a big loss for their families and for Kazakhstan’s Armed Forces. This is a loss for all Kazakhstan people. I express sincere and deep condolences to the families of all the victims of the crash,” Akhmetov said opening the meeting on development of Kazakhstan's mining sector. The meeting’s participants observed a minute of silence in tribute to the memory of the crash victims. Earlier Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the plane crash near Shymkent and instructed the state authorities to investigate causes for the accident and render necessary support to the families of the victims. The flag of the Border Control Service of Kazakhstan National Security Commission on its headquarter in Astana has been dipped. By Gulnara Zhandagulova
