4.0-magnitude quake hits 228km from Almaty

A 4.0-magnitude earthquake hit south Kazakhstan at 06:06 p.m. Astana time on February 5, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Seismological Research-Methodical Expedition of Kazakhstan Ministry of Education and Science. The epicenter was at the depth of 15km 228km south-east of Almaty. No casualties were reported.
