Investigators searching for another 3-4 people in forest near Almaty

Several more people are being searched for near Almaty, Kazakhstan Interior Minister Kalmukhanbet Kassymov told the journalists, Tengrinews.kz reports. “An investigation group was formed and a large group of militarymen was sent to search. We suppose that not all of the people have been discovered yet. We think we will find 3-4 more people there,” Kassymov said. Zakharopulo born in 1936, Ms. Antonina Karpyzina born in 1938 and Ms. A. Guzeva born in 1969. A сriminal case on Murder charges has been initiated under the Article 96 Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan. “Two corpses, a man and a woman, were discovered in the forester’s house at the territory of the national park 30km from Tau Samaly village. Corpses of another woman and a man were found 2km from the house. Then a message was received from the national park’s personnel that another forester’s house was on fire 25km from the first house. After the fire was localized, two unidentified burnt corpses were found,” Almaty oblast Interior Department’s message states. The house could not be checked because it is badly burned and there is a high risk of collapse. The check of the site is scheduled for today, August 14.
