The person injured in the attack in Almaty has undergone a surgery and had two bullets extracted, Tengrinews reports citing the chief doctor of the City Hospital No.4 Zhumakhan Moldakulov. The victim was delivered to the hospital at 09:50 a.m. He had two gunshot wounds in the abdomen and in the thigh. His internal organs, in particular the liver, were damaged. The doctors made a surgery and extracted two bullets. The surgery lasted for 1.5 hours. The victim is still in the intensive care unit in a heavy condition. He cannot yet speak or cooperate with police. The doctors did not unveil his ID. According to them, the man is of Slavic appearance and around 30 years old. Two employees of Travel Express company were attacked at the crossing of Satpayev and Zheltoksan streets in Almaty while transporting around $26,000 of the company's money. One of them was shot dead, the other one was wounded, the money was stolen. The police immediately launched an operation to intercept the attacks, but no one has been arrested so far.
