“Kazakhstan has a great growth potential; the agreement with Kairat Boranbayev will enable us to keep strengthening the brand. We are developing the business in Europe through increasing the trade turnover of already existing outlets and tapping into new markets with a potential for growth”, Mr. Douglas M. Goare, President of McDonald's Europe Limited, said.
Opening of the first McDonald's is expected in the second half of 2015. “The visitors will enjoy high-quality products, free Wi-Fi, modern interior designs (…) The menu will feature all the trademark dishes, according to the statement.
“I treat McDonald's brand with a great respect; it is one of the most recognizable in the world. It’s a privilege to be a partner of the brand in my home country. We are looking forward to starting works to launch the first McDonald's in Kazakhstan”, Mr. Boranbayev said.
Currently he is a McDonald's franchisee in Belarus and the CEO of the ALMALY Assets Management Company.
The McDonald's Corporation is the world's largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurants, serving around 68 million customers daily in 119 countries across 35,000 outlets.
