Realtor movie is most title-winning movie of 2012

Kazakhstan Realtor movie directed by young Kazakhstan’s filmmaker Adilkhan Yerzhanov won the record number of awards in different International Film Festivals in 2012. Yermek Amanshayev, Kazakhfilm Studios presidentб said about this in his interview with Tengrinews.kz. Kazakhstan Realtor movie won its sixth prize when it was awarded with the White Chameleon Award at the 6th Cinema Digital Seoul Film Festival that was held on August 22-28 in South Korea. Earlier Yerzhanov’s movie was awarded with the Special Jury Prizes at Russian Kinoshock-2011 Festival and DeboshirFilm – Pure Dreams-XIV Festival. The movie was screened at the VIII Dubai International Film Festival, Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film Festival-2012 in Brazil and as part of the 7th international Eurasia Film Festival. The movie was awarded with the Grand-Prix of Kinolikbez International Festival of Independent Films. Darezhan Omirbayev’s Student is in the second place by the number of its awards and participations in international film festivals. The movie is based on Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s Crime and Punishment novel. It won the Special Jury Award at the Portugal Lisbon & Estoril Film Festival, got into the official selection of Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival and was screened at Eurasia Moscow International Film Festival where it was awarded with NETPAC award (Network for the promotion of Asian Cinema). Anshy Bala (Little Hunter in Kazakh), directed by Kazakhstan filmmaker Yerlan Nurmukhambetov got the third place in the list. The movie was considered the best movie at KinoMalyShock Film Festival in Anapa. Besides, Anshy Bala was screened at the 21st Cairo International Film Festival for Children in Egypt and the International Family Film Festival in the USA where it got The Best Foreign Drama Award.
