Classical music radio to open in Kazakhstan

A new radio station will be open in Kazakhstan in summer 2011. The radio will be broadcasting classical music, Tengrinews.kz reports. Kazakhstan Vice-Minister of Communication and Information Nurai Urazov said that Classic radio will be based on Khabar agency (national TV and radio company). The project is created in cooperation with Kyrmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. The idea of the project belongs to the president of the conservatory Zhaniya Aubakirova. Classic will be broadcasted only in Almaty at Khabar radio frequency (101.0 FM).
