Chamber hall to open in Astana Opera theater

The festive opening of the chamber hall in Astana Opera theater will take place on October 1, 2013 on the International Music Day, Tengrinews reports. Dariga Nazarbayeva (mezz-soprano) will sing, accompanied by pianist Timur Urmanchev at the gala-concert dedicated to the chamber hall opening. People's artist of Kazakhstan Aiman Musakhadzhayeva (violinist), honored artists Talgat Musabayev (baritone), Zhan Tapin (tenor), national chamber orchestra Soloist Academy conducted by Bakhytzhan Musakhojayev will perform at the opening concert. The chief conductor of the Lvov National Philharmonic hall Aidar Torybayev also will take part in the concert. The program will include music of the Baroque period - compositions George Frideric Handel, Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi. The chamber hall of Astana Opera Theater has a capacity of 250 seats and an excellent acoustics. The hall was designed specially for chamber music. Italian artists created the interior, including the unique hand-made fresco on the hall's ceiling. A classic music concert Young Voices of Astana Opera will be held on October 9 at the chamber hall.
