KazMunayGas announces H1 2011 results
The Company accounts for 65% of overall oil transportation, 100% of gas transportation, 50% of tanker transportation in Kazakhstan. 100 per cent of the Company’s shares belong to the National Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna.
Petrol price 17.4% up

Pavlodar oil refinery to be suspended for repairs June 25
Pavlodar refinery is capable of producing 7.5 million tons of oil a year. The facility was constructed in 1978 and is currently owned by Refinary Company RT (KazMunaiGas subsidiary) (58%) and Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund (42%).
No further licensing of minor oil refineries: Minister of Oil and Gas Sauat Mynbayev
According to the Minister, there are a total of 35 oil refineries: 3 large-scaled ones and 32 minor facilities.
Fuel shortages in Kazakhstan to be resolved by 2015
The problem of fuel deficiency in Kazakhstan will be solved after implementation of the Complex plan of oil refineries development in 2009-2015.
Pavlodar oil refinery to be suspended for repairs this summer
Kazakhstan-based three oil refineries process a bit over 13 million tons a year. Plans are there to increase oil processing up to 17 million tons by 2015.
