Kazakhstan weightlifter Zhazira Zhaparkul won silver a the 2013 IWF Junior World Championship that was held in Lima, Peru, Vesti.kz reports. The athlete competed in the 69kg weight class. The Kazakhstan athlete was the junior world champion until the Peru tournament. Chinese Wang Xinyue was the main rival of Zhazira Zhaparkul. The Chinese weightlifter won the first exercise by lifting 115 kilograms in snatch. Zhaparkul lifted 105 kilograms. But the Kazakhstan weightlifter showed the best result of 135 kilograms in clean and jerk. Xinyue lifted 130 kilograms in the second exercise, but it still was enough for her to secure the victory by the total score of two exercises. Ghada Hassin of Tunis got bronze. She lifted 222 kilograms in total (101+121).
