Kazakhstan tennis player Galina Voskoboeva coupled with Alisa Kleibanova from Russia made it into the final of Estoril Open international tournament held in Portugal, the tournament's official website reports. In semi-finals the Kazakh-Russian combination won 6:4, 6:3 over American duo Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears. In the final Viskoboyeva and Kleibanova will play against the winners of Eleni Daniilidou (Greece) / Michaëlla Krajicek (Netherlands) vs Mervana Jugic-Salkic (Bosnia and Herzegovina) / Darija Jurak (Croatia) match. Earlier another Kazakhstan tennis player Sesil Karatancheva failed to get into the main table of the tournament. In the qualifying final she lost 6:4, 4:6, 3:6 to Beatriz Garcia Vidagany from Spain. Galina Voskoboeva turned pro in 2002. During her career, she has won two ITF singles titles: in Mont-de-Marsan in 2003, and Cuneo in 2006. In 2008, she changed her nationality from Russian to Kazakhstani.
