“Our sportsmen made us happy this year. One thing I wanted to hear was Kazakhstan’s anthem. The whole world heard it. For the first time in the history of Kazakhstan we have 6 gold medals. Our sportsmen will be in top 10 list, I suppose. Many don't take sports seriously, but sports are of high importance for the country’s image,” President said at the meeting with Akmola oblast citizens.
