Kazakhstan mixed martial arts wrestler Tolegen Akylbekov, nicknamed Attila has won over American Bob Sapp, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Vesti.kz. The fight was held in Astana as part of International President’s Cup ММА (Mixed Martial Arts) Bushido FC Vol. 51 tournament. Attila celebrated his victory at the second minute of the first round. Kazakhstan Club Alash-Pride KZ fought against world team wrestlers. Osmanzhan Kassimov, MMA champion, nicknamed Assym (65-kilogram weight league) fought against Polish Champion Sebastian Grabarek and the jury couldn’t award the victory to any of the wrestlers. Two main rounds and one extraround finished draw. Mukhammed Azirbayev (Shakh, 77-kilogram weight league wrestler), MMA and jiu-jitsu champion yielded the victory to Lithuanian champion K1 Matas Stebuliauskas. It took Aziz Amuyev (Salahaddin), MMA and jiu-jitsu Kazakhstan champion of the same weight league category only a minute and a half to win over Moldovian Dmitri Capmari by submission lock. Assif Tagiyev (Tomango), Asian K1 champion, won over MMA wrestler and ultimate fighting champion of Europe Andrejs Zozula (Latvia) using the same hold. Kairat Akhmet, nicknamed Kazakh (57 kilogram weight league) prevailed over Turkish ultimate fighting and Thai boxing champion Kaan Kazgan. Assulan Toktarbayev (Lion), Kazakh national team captain, Bushido FC and ISCP professional Pankration world champion (60 kilogram weight league) overcame Polish kickboxing world vice-champion Przemyslaw Dobiala in the first round of the fight. Kazakhstan international class super heavy weight, two-time world championships prize-winner Shakhmaral Dzhepissov (Shakhan) yielded the victory in controversial fight to 11-time Latvian Greco-Roman champion and Athens Olympics participant Igors Kostins. Kuat Khamitov (Nayman, 70 kilogram weight league) was beaten by Russian Sergey Golyayev. He lost consciousness because of painful hold in the second round. Yerzhan Yestanov (Arlan, 65-kilogram weight league) lost to Japanese Shunichi Shumizu.
