A famous actor Son Il Guk will take part in the opening of the year of South Korea in Kazakhstan. The ceremony will be held today, May 5, in the State Concert Hall Kazakhstan (10/1 Orynbor street ) in Astana , Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Embassy of South Korea in Kazakhstan. The ceremony will include performance of Korean singers and traditional Korean musical Miso. The audience will hear the songs from Korean TV shows that became very popular in Kazakhstan. They will also see actor Son Il Guk who starred in Jumong, Lobbyist and The Kingdon of The Winds TV shows. Many events are scheduled for the Year of South Korea in Kazakhstan: concerts, film festivals, photo shows, etc. The photo shows will be featuring tourist sites. Astana and Seoul are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding on tourism. The film festival and photo show will be held in Khan Shatyr mall (37 Turan street ) on May 6 to 9, 2011. The organizers promised an unforgettable show. Over 100 thousand Koreans live in Kazakhstan.
