The May 7 military parade in Kazakhstan will involve 86 airplanes and helicopters, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Kazakhstan Defense Ministry. “The main feature of the May 7 military parade will be that it will demonstrate many more military vehicles and armament than we used to see at the parades before. The military parade will involve 86 airplanes and helicopters: twice more than in the last parade on the Constitution Day of Kazakhstan,” the press-service writes. The Defense Ministry reminded that this would be the first military parade where armaments will be demonstrated in their military use. The Ministry also noted that compared to the ordinary military parades that demonstrate drilling of the militarymen and some vehicles and armament in static positions, this military parade would be a vivid demonstration of professional skills of officers and soldiers, teamwork of military units and combat capacities of the modern weapons and vehicles of the Kazakhstan army. The army will demonstrate their tactical skills and practical use of modern armament and vehicles of the Ground Forces and Air Defense Forces on May 7, 2013. At the same time the ships of Kazakhstan Navy will perform a weapons training that will be broadcasted in a video conference. “Officers and soldiers will prove that the Armed Forces now have real patriots and professionals with a powerful and courageous motto: Strong Army, Strong Kazakhstan!” the press-service writes.
