Nazarbayev received a gratitude letter from Kirill Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan President's official website. In the letter the Patriarch thanked the President for a warm and friendly reception in Kazakhstan. Kirill also noted the significance of constant and productive attention of Nursultan Nazarbayev to spiritual needs of Kazakhstan people. "I was glad to take part in the meeting of the Council of Religious Leaders and the opening ceremony of the 4th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. I am convinced that the established communications format will keep promoting the atmosphere of mutual understanding among the representatives of different religions and yield good results," the letter states. According to the President's press-service, the Patriarch also stressed that Kazakhstan was an example of a balanced and peaceful life of many ethnic groups, practicing different religious traditions. The celebrant of Russian Orthodox Church wished good health, well-being and success to Kazakhstan President and peace and prosperity to Kazakhstan people.
