Tengrinews.kz — Vladimir Putin spoke about his relationship with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
"Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich and I have developed truly friendly, sincere relations. Our meetings and discussions are always held in an atmosphere of trust and are focused on results. We consistently prioritize the advancement of mutually beneficial Russian-Kazakhstani ties in all areas," the Russian president noted in his article, published ahead of his visit to Astana.
Vladimir Putin also emphasized that Kazakhstan is held in high regard in Russia.
As a reminder, Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan on May 27-29 at the invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The heads of state are expected to discuss the current status and prospects for strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership and allied relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.
The Eurasian Economic Forum will be held on May 28 with the participation of the heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union member countries. A meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will take place on May 29.
