Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev is to pay a working visit to France November 21-23, Altai Abibullayev, spokesman of the Mass Communications Service announced today. “On the visit the President is to meet his French counterpart François Hollande. This will be their first talks after Hollande was elected”, he said. According to Mr. Abibullayev, the trade turnover between the two nations in January – August 2012 stood at $4.9 billion, 32% up against the like period of 2012. He also elaborated that there are 100 JVs involving French capital currently in operation in Kazakhstan. The 2011 trade turnover made up over $6 billion, 20% up against 2010. French investments since 1994 have exceeded $9 billion.
