Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev on his visit to Iran met acting Vice President Es-haq Jahangiri, according to President Nazarbayev’s website. “At the talks the sides dwelt on trade and economic and transport and communications cooperation between Kazakhstan and Iran. They also broached promising directions to further the bilateral interaction”, the statement reads. President Nazarbayev arrived in Iran August 4. Among other things he came to Iran to attend President Hassan Rouhani’s inauguration.
