At the founding congress of the “Adilet” party, its creation was officially announced. The party declared itself a supporter of the presidential reform course.

Party members also formed a political council, adopted the charter and elected former Head of the Presidential Administration Aibek Dadebay as their chairman.

Speaking at the congress, Aibek Dadebay noted that the party intends to promote the ideology of justice as part of the political culture and everyday life of Kazakhstanis.

He emphasized that justice should become one of the defining features of the national mentality and, according to him, this is exactly what President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev consistently focuses on.

According to official data, more than 1,000 delegates from all regions of Kazakhstan attended the congress.

Who is Aibek Dadebay

In 2001, Aibek Dadebay graduated from the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abylai Khan, and in 2003 he completed a master’s degree in regional studies.

At different times, he worked as a lecturer at the Department of International Tourism Management of the Kazakh State University of International Relations and World Languages; an expert in the Department of Interparliamentary Relations and International Cooperation of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan; acting assistant to the Chairman of the Senate.

He held positions as attaché, third secretary at the Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan to the UN in Geneva, deputy head and head of the Secretariat of the Chairman of the Senate, and deputy head of the Chancellery of the President.

From May 2021 to January 2022, he worked as Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration.

In January 2022, he was appointed Head of the Presidential Administration.

On February 6, 2024, by presidential decree, he was appointed Head of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan.

He holds the diplomatic rank of Counselor of the Second Class and has been awarded the Order of “Kurmet” and the medal “For Distinguished Labor.”

It should be recalled that on May 5, by presidential decree, Aibek Dadebay was relieved of his post as Head of the Presidential Administration due to a transition to another position. Roman Sklyar was appointed to this post.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed gratitude to Aibek Dadebay, highly praising his work as Head of the Presidential Administration.

New party appears in Kazakhstan

In mid-April, an initiative group of political scientists, journalists and public figures announced plans to create a new political party — “Adilet”. The statement said the party would support progressive reforms, the idea of building a Fair Kazakhstan, strengthening the rule of law and expanding citizen participation in decision-making.

The main goal is to protect the rights, freedoms and interests of citizens of Kazakhstan based on the principles of the new Constitution and national values.

On April 16, the organizing committee of the new party officially submitted a notification to the Ministry of Justice about its intention to create a political association.

The party stated that it met the legal threshold of 5,000 members, reaching 9,312 members. The requirement of at least 200 members from each region and city of republican significance was also fulfilled.
