Kazakhstan’s GDP went 5 percent up in January-May 2013, Tengrinews.kz reports from the government meeting.
“According to preliminary evaluations, the GDP growth made 5 percent in January-May 2013, which is 0.2 percent higher than in January-April this year,” Kazakhstan Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev said.
“In line with the planned growth schedule, we suppose that the GDP growth in 5 months will make 5 percent and 6 percent at the end of 2013, considering the low profits in agriculture in 2012 and the achieved target production in the energy sector,” the Minister added.
