NATO and American military doctrines have been presented in Astana, Tengrinews reports citing the press-service of the Kazakhstan Defense Ministry. Representatives of the Defense Ministry met with professors of the U.S. Army Military College and Czech National Defense University in Astana. The professors presented the military doctrine systems of NATO and the U.S. Ground Forces. The military experts discussed transformations of military views of the Western countries on preparation and implementation of tactical operations, the message states. “The obtained information and the experience exchange will help improve the professional level of our teachers, better analyze the views of the foreign countries in regards to preparation and implementation of the operations in the modern conditions,” the press-service cites deputy head of Kazakhstan National Defense University Albert Mukhametov as saying. The participants of the seminar pointed out that the subject of the meeting was very acute considering the quickly changing military-political situation around the world, production of new armament and military vehicles, changes in the modern forms of the military actions and means of the armed combat.
