Specially trained dogs will help policemen struggle against terrorism in Kokshetau, 31.kz reports.
Special program Strike-fighter was created to train four-footed fighters against crime in Akmolinsk oblast. Unfortunately, now only two dogs are being trained according the program, German shepherd Buran and Belgian shepherd Shakira. According to the policemen, the strike-fighters are trained on attacking and deactivating armed criminals.
"We are training dogs to make them used to shots and explosions, i.e. the dog are trained not to respond to them," head of Dog-Training Center of Department of Internal Affairs of Akmolinsk oblast Ainash Baryamova said. The dogs' trainers said that the dogs had no fear and showed good results.
