Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory telegram to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, according to a statement from Akorda.

Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory telegram to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, according to a statement from Akorda.

The President of Kazakhstan congratulated To Lam on Tet, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year.

"In his telegram, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan views Vietnam as an important partner in Southeast Asia and is committed to elevating bilateral cooperation to a new level," Akorda’s statement reads.

The Head of State wished the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam success in his important work and wished the Vietnamese people peace and prosperity.

Tokayev also congratulated the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping and his compatriots on the Chinese Lunar New Year.
