The violations were discovered upon the arrival of a Moscow-Karaganda flight. The offenders, aged 23, 40, and 48, were Russian citizens.

Transport police filed administrative protocols against them for failing to report the acquisition of foreign citizenship within the time frame stipulated by Kazakh law. The cases were forwarded to the Specialized Interdistrict Administrative Court of Karaganda.

The court imposed penalties, including fines of 200 monthly calculation indexes (MCI) which equals 221,520 tenge, deportation from Kazakhstan, and a five-year entry ban.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the year, 3,629 foreigners have been held administratively accountable for violating Kazakhstan's migration laws by the Transport Police Department. Of these, 1,077 were deported by court decision. Additionally, 412 individuals with dual citizenship were identified, and appropriate measures were taken against them.
