Tengrinews.kz – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has issued a statement regarding the situation involving Israel and Iran.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan expresses serious concern over the dangerous military escalation in the Middle East region and advocates for a prompt resolution of the conflict exclusively through political and diplomatic means, in accordance with the UN Charter and principles of international law," the statement reads.

The Ministry called on all parties involved to exercise maximum restraint.

It is worth noting that, due to the ongoing situation, Kazakh airlines have decided to avoid Iranian and Iraqi airspace. This was announced by the airlines on June 13. More details are available here.
