Tengrinews.kz — The Medeu — Tuyuk Su road will be partially closed until the end of November.
From July 24 to November 30, 2026, scheduled work to modernize engineering infrastructure will be carried out on the Medeu — Tuyuk Su road.
According to the Almaty akimat, the work is aimed at improving the reliability of utility networks that support facilities in the Shymbulak area.

During the work, vehicle traffic on the road will be temporarily restricted. This is necessary to ensure the safe execution of the work, unobstructed access for special equipment and completion of the modernization within the established timeframe.
At the same time, tourist facilities in the Shymbulak area will continue operating as usual.
Access will remain open for emergency and repair service vehicles, residents of the area, as well as special equipment.
As a reminder, a 5.7-kilometer medium-pressure gas pipeline and 2.7 kilometers of sewerage networks are planned to be built on the section of road from Medeu to the Shymbulak ski resort.
Access to the parking lot near Medeu has also been temporarily restricted from June 16 until December of this year.
