Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet meteorologists have released the weather forecast for Kazakhstan for May 24, 25, and 26.
The cyclone is leaving, the cold is coming
Hot summer weather is still not reaching the northern regions of Kazakhstan. According to forecasters, following the cyclone that brought thunderstorms and rain across most of the country, a northern anticyclone is now moving in. It will lead to the end of precipitation in the west and a sharp drop in temperatures in the north.
Frosts expected in Kazakhstan
According to Kazhydromet, frosts are expected in several regions over the coming days. On the night of May 25, frosts are forecast in the West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Kostanay, Akmola, and North Kazakhstan regions. On May 26, night frosts will also reach the Pavlodar region.
Nighttime temperatures in these areas may drop to 1–3°C.
Specialists warn that this kind of weather poses a risk to agricultural crops and garden plants, and residents are advised to take precautionary measures.
What will summer 2025 be like in Kazakhstan?
