Tengrinews.kz — Kazakhstan’s airline Air Astana has announced that it is suspending flights to the United Arab Emirates due to the ongoing escalation of the situation in the Middle East.
This was reported by the airline’s press service on Sunday, July 12.
According to the airline, flights KC897/898 on the Almaty – Dubai – Almaty route, scheduled for July 13 and 14, have been canceled, as well as flights KC205/206 on the Astana – Dubai – Astana route, scheduled for July 14.
“Passengers are offered a full refund of the ticket price at the place of purchase or free rebooking from flights scheduled from July 12 to 18 to flights up to and including July 31. Further changes to the flight schedule will be announced later,” the statement said.
The airline noted that it is closely monitoring the situation and working on issues related to transporting passengers.
