Route description:

The Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of the oldest and largest museums, not only in Kazakhstan but also throughout the entire Central Asian region. The museum's collections contain about 300,000 items.

The wide and spacious Republic Square is not only the heart of the city but also the center of significant events in Kazakhstan's history.

The Independence Monument is in the center of the square. It is a 28-meter stele crowned by the "Golden Man", a majestic figure six meters high.

The December events took place here in 1986, marking a turning point in the struggle for the country's independence. The composition "Tauelsizdik tany" ("Dawn of Freedom") is dedicated to them.
