Family Park

What’s interesting about it?

Family Park is one of the largest amusement parks in Almaty. This park has pleased residents of Soviet Almaty with entertainment since the time it was called the Park, named after the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution. The decommissioned Il-86 aircraft with a ramp stood there in the center of the Family park.

What kind of entertainment is there?

Now, visitors can enjoy more than 30 attractions (Ferris wheel, roller coaster, carousel, go-kart, slot machines with virtual games), a mini-zoo, a bowling center, and a water park with three swimming pools and four slides.

The Park of Soviet Monuments is adjacent to the Sary-Arka Park, where monuments are collected after being transported from their original installation places. There is a large shopping center nearby.

When is the best time to visit?

Outdoor attractions are available from spring to autumn, depending on the air temperature. The water park is open in the summer. Bowling and go-karting are available all year. It is better to check the opening hours and availability of entertainment with the administration in advance.
