Kok-Zhailau plateau

Location: The plateau is located 10 kilometers from Almaty in the Ile-Alatau National Park. The routes start from the Medeu Gorge or Dulati Street.

People come here to get fresh mountain air with a pine aroma and relax in nature. Another local attraction is the Batareika waterfall. There is also a mountain swing that attracts many tourists, and if you go further, you can climb Furmanov Peak. For many people, this peak is their first mountain peak to conquer.
