Location: Located in the Ayusai Gorge on the way to the Big Almaty Lake. You can get there by bus No. 211 (only on weekends), by private car, taxi, or on foot (about 1.5 hours from the final stop of bus No. 28).
What’s interesting about it?
The Ayusai Visitor Center opened in 2021. The main goal of it is to provide visitors with the opportunity to enjoy their vacation without causing damage to nature. In this center, tourists get acquainted with the Ile-Alatau National Park and explore the routes of hiking trails.
What kind of entertainment is there?
The visitor center offers glamping and Tau Tas camping, where you can spend the night outdoors. The visitor center regularly organizes various activities, including tours, master classes, quests, lectures, and movie nights.
Red Book plants grow around the visitor center. Four springs are gushing out of the ground nearby: one near a waterfall, another near the campsite, and two springs on the Myn Koz trail. The artist Sanzhar Zhubanov created petroglyphs around this trail. There are only three waterfalls; the center organizes tours of them too.
When is the best time to visit?
The visit center is open from April to October from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from November to March from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
