“Baiserke” airfield
Location: Go along Zhansugurova Street to Erkin village, turn right onto Momyshuly Street, and move east to the airfield gate.
What’s interesting about it?
Skydiving at the airfield is excellent entertainment for thrill-seekers. During the flight, parachutists are in free fall for the first three seconds, after which the parachute automatically deploys. From a height of 1,000 meters, there is a magnificent panoramic view of the city.
Who can jump?
The minimum weight for participation is 55 kg, and the maximum is 90 kg, in total with clothing weight. There are also tandem jumps with an instructor from a height of 3,500 meters, allowing you to enjoy almost a full minute of free fall. The maximum weight for a tandem jump is 80 kg per person. It is better to check the cost of jumping before the trip.
At the age of 16–18 years, notarized parental consent is required. At the age of 40, it is necessary to undergo an additional examination for osteoporosis.
When is the best time to visit?
The “parachute season” here lasts from mid-April to the end of November. Skydiving is only available on weekends. It is important to arrive at the airfield by 9 a.m. The instruction will take 3–4 hours.
