The Interstate Aviation Commission has started restoration and decoding of the board recorders of the CRJ-200 plane that crashed on January 29 near Almaty, RIA Novosti reports citing the Commission. “The recorders have mechanical damages that they received when the plane hit the ground. The experts of the Interstate Aviation Commission have started restoration and decoding of the board recorders,” the message states. The recorders were received by the experts on February 1. On January 29 a Bombardier airplane owned by Scat airline crashed 7km from Almaty airport during its second attempt to land. According to the prosecutors, the plane was performing a Kokshetau-Almaty flight. The accident claimed lives of 5 crew members and 16 passengers including a 2-year-old boy.
