Tengrinews.kz - On October 17, the dollar exchange rate in Kazakhstan decreased.
The weighted average exchange rate of the dollar on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) was 487.24 tenge, down by 1.43 tenge from the previous day. The official exchange rate set by the National Bank for October 17 was 488.93 tenge per dollar.
According to kurs.kz, in Almaty, the current average buying rate for the dollar in exchange offices is 487.24 tenge, while the selling rate is 488.80 tenge. In Astana exchange offices, the U.S. currency is being bought at an average of 486.01 tenge and sold at 491.99 tenge.
Recall that on October 16 the weighted average exchange rate on KASE was 488.93 tenge, reflecting an increase of 1.43 tenge.
Earlier, the Minister of National Economy discussed the possibility of the dollar exchange rate rising to 600 tenge.
